I met Ronald through his lovely partner, a yoga teacher. I had heard of his reputation, he’s a renowned surfer who grew up surfing and has travelled internationally for his passion. I was a bit intimidated as I’m scared of deep water, but Ronald was very reassuring. He communicates quite well in English and really took his time to make sure I got all the basics. I ended up really enjoying myself. I only had 2 surf lessons but I would definitely reach out to him again when I’m back in Puerto Viejo.
Specially for the good lessons from Ronald me and my boyfriend came back to Puerto Viejo. We had 10 lessons in a row , what helped us to improve our surfskills. Ronald is nice, relaxed and flexible. Would recommend everyone him as a teacher!

Best surfing teacher! Ronald has a very friendly, calm and personal approach. I surfed for the first time and he looked for the best spot and waves to make the first experience as comfortable as possible. 10/10 recommend!
